THE HEART OF THE OAK (EL CORAZON DEL ROBLE) (2012)

Strange events are changing the climate in Dragon Hill and this sudden freeze has plunged it into darkness. The trees are dying and Robin, the little Elf and guardian of the forest, implores the Gods to help him fight this menacing evil that threatens to destroy all life.
We find the deepest roots of European myths and legends in the Middle Edges. And it is there, where most of our dreams rest. This immense wealth of fantasy is the base of uncountable stories that satisfy our evasion necessity as well as enriches our imagination and conserves our cultural tradition.
“The heart of the oak” tell us a story whose roots come from all European countries. We find a magical universe inhabited by dragons, fairies and elves, all of them  created by our mythological heritage. It is a magical world full of comedy,beauty, adventure and fantasy, which is  loved by both children and families our main audiences.
But “The Heart of the Oak” is not only a “dragon and princess’” story. It is at the same time, a reflection of our own universe; a story full of daily situations, with family scenes, constant allusions to our reality, full of adventures and brought to life with great humour, so that the audience can relate and feel closer to the story and characters..
